Our event begins on Monday, July 3rd with KICKIN' IT IN CANYONJoin us at the First United Bank Center for fun, food and Award Winning Entertainment! Tickets are $10.00 per person pre-sale & $15.00 per person at the gate and will be available at the gate or purchased in advance at select ticket locations in Canyon and Amarillo. Parking to the concert is FREE!
Kickin' It in Canyon will feature a family-friendly show of live music with the up and coming local band Next to Kin andTEXAS COUNTRY ARTIST JOSH ABBOTT BAND!Gates open at 6:30 PM with live music starting at 7:00 PM.Bring your friends and family to enjoy food from the Twisted Trio food trucks.
Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Canyon Lions Club in the Cole Community Center from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.The Independence Day Parade starts at 10:00 AM and you won't want to miss it! The parade travels through the heart of Canyon down 4th Avenue beginning at the First United Bank Center (WTAMU Campus) and ends at Canyon's Historic Downtown Square.
After the parade stay and enjoy food, fun, and shopping at our Fair on the Square with over 150 vendors including a special area JUST FOR KIDS! The entire downtown area of Canyon is blocked off to allow parade spectators and shoppers alike to enjoy all that Canyon has to offer. The Fair on the Square is open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.After all of the downtown festivities, make plans to join us at Conner Park for our fabulous Fireworks Show, choreographed to patriotic favorites! Bring your family out for a picnic in the park with delicious food from a variety of food trucks or bring your own food to enjoy while you listen to live, local entertainment!Fireworks (weather conditions permitting) will begin at dark (10PM).
