His talk will include a presentation of notable works in public and private collections, with a special emphasis on the art of the South and Southwest.” Among his many honors, Eiland, in 2013, received the American Alliance of Museums Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his contributions to the field on a national level. In October 2017, he received a Governor’s Award for the Arts & Humanities for his service to Georgia. Tickets are $50 for non-FOSA members and are free to FOSA members.
