Howdy Y'all!

We're just fifteen minutes south of Amarillo, Tx and only twelve miles west of Palo Duro Canyon State Park, home to the outdoor musical drama, "TEXAS." Although the play runs only June through August, you can enjoy the geological wonders and panorama of colors in the park year-round.

In addition to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Canyon is home to the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum, and West Texas A&M University. Other points of interest include Elkins Ranch and the St. Benedict Monastery.

Canyon's overnight accommodations include fine hotels & motels; a historic bed-&-breakfast; and a large RV park. We also provide a variety of eating establishments, ranging from comfortable sit-down restaurants to fast-food experiences.
